Editor's intro About this feed Python is the language most people now learn first, and for good reason: readable syntax, a huge standard library, and a job market that spans web back ends, data work, automation, and teaching. This feed collects the resources we'd actually hand a friend — for starting from zero, getting fluent, and eventually understanding why Python behaves the way it does.
Start with one beginner course and finish it before collecting more. Once you can write small scripts without constantly looking things up, move to the intermediate picks: they cover idiomatic Python, testing, and packaging, which is where most self-taught code falls apart. The advanced section is for people writing Python for a living.
