The CalArts Graphic Design Specialization gives you a compressed version of an art-school foundation year. Across its courses you study image-making, typography, shape and color, and composition, then bring them together in a capstone brand project. The assignments are peer-reviewed, which forces you to explain your choices — a skill you'll need with every client. It is taught conceptually rather than as software training, so pair it with tool tutorials when you need them.

Course availability, level, and pricing are set by the provider and can change. Verify on the provider's site before enrolling.
